Evergreen shrub that grows quickly to 6' x 6'. It has narrow leaves forming feathery sprays of medium green foliage. Its showy yellow flowers appear in clusters at branch tips from late winter to spring. Will tolerate reflected sun. Good winter color. Trim lightly after bloom to remove seed pods. Native to Australia.
Frost tolerant to 20 F. May be sold as Cassia nemophila. Also try Senna artemisiodies v. oligophylla, v. petiolaris, and v. sturtii.
