Attractive upright, dense shrub grows to 10' x 8'. Good alternative to oleander. Excellent screen. Full sun to partial shade. Yellow-green nonshowy flowers appear in spring followed by decorative papery fruits that attract birds. Native to hot regions worldwide.
Frost tolerant to 15 F. Also try Dodenea viscosa v. purpurea, which has bronze-purple leaves.
