A mounding evergreen shrub grow slowly to 3' x 4'. Leaves are leathery and light green. Green nonshowy flowers apper in spring and lead to red fruits. Good in containers. Accepts full sun to part shade. Quite salt tolerant. Native to the southern U.S. and Mexico.
Frost tolerant to 20 F. Consider as an alternative to Jojoba.
