Classified as an evergreen shrub or a small tree, this plant grows slowly to 15' x 15'. It can be pruned to almost any size or shape. Its foliage is grey-green and silvery underneath. White flowers with bright red stamens resemble apple blossoms and are followed by 1"-4" long, oval, edible fruit. Fullsun is required for proper growth. Native to South America.
