This agave forms a tight rosette 2' x 3' . Leaves are narrow, stiff, dark green with smooth margins & sharp terminal. Full sun, water sparingly to maintain form. Will tolerate harsh, reflected heat while providing deep green, lush appearance. Does not produce offsets. Can tolerate more water & shade than most. Flower spike slender spike of yellow April through June. Native NE Sonora on rocky hillsides .
Frost tolerant to 15 F.
