This agave forms a compact rosette 4' x 4'. Leaves are blue-green lance-shaped 2' long x 4" wide. Teeth along the margin are red, cream, or yellow . Beware of terminal spine. Sets off a spectacular 10-18' branched flower stalk of greenish yellow flowers in June and July. Accepts full sun. Native to the Sonoran Desert and into southwest US.
Frost tolerant to 15 F.
