Butterfly attractor. Sparsely foliated growing to 4' x 4' . Native on dry slopes and washes in SW USA and northern Mexico. 1/2" wide yellow flowers at branch tips. Sweet smelling. Good nectar source. Extremely drought tolerant. Blooms spring to fall in response to water.Attractive to butterflies of all sizes. Full sun, well drained soil.
Frost tolerant to 15 F.
