Rapid growth following rain. Overgrown and fragile if overwatered. Seeds attract birds. Native to Sonoran & Mojave deserts.

Evergreen cactus grows slowly to 10' x 10'. Stems are light green, no spines. Showy pink flowers appear late spring to summer. Columnar form makes a great sculptural accent in the landscape. Accepts reflected sun. Very low water use. Native to Baja California.
