Aloe spectabilis is an tree-like species that can reach a mature size of about 12' x 6' . The leaves on this plant are light green to blue-green, with sizeable teeth along the margins. Yellow-orange flowers are produced in the winter. Plants are not reliably cold hardy below 30 F, so containers might be the best choice for outside plantings. Full sun to light shade. Drought tolerant, prefers well-drained soil.
Frost tolerant to 32 F.
