  • Description

  • Notes

Snakeweed grows in almost any climate and will establish quickly on disturbed soils. Grows in mounds to 2' x 2'. Yellow flowers will cover this plant in early fall. Leaves are thread-like and lime-green. They are resinous and flammable when dry. Snakeweed thrives with neglect, needing very little water attention to grow well. Great for erosion control. Accepts full sun. Native to the western US.
Frost tolerant to -10 F.
